Villiger thinks in generations

Villiger's approach to sustainability is based on our corporate values. Innovation, durability, safety and responsibility are incorporated into the design of our products. We consider the environment and natural resources to be among our company's stakeholders, with the need to be treated as considerately and sustainably as possible. With the development and production of disposal systems, we form the basis for a clean environment with the aim of conserving resources as far as possible.

Thanks to continuous further development, Villiger is able to collect waste in the largest possible volumes, in order to significantly reduce CO2 emissions from waste disposal processes. As an overall supplier, we have also succeeded in optimising waste disposal processes by offering a perfectly coordinated range of products, which not only saves resources but also reduces the volume of traffic in cities. 

Finally, our employees form a valuable part of our sustainability strategy, which we constantly promote. Be it with further training offers or internal development opportunities. The promotion of young talent should be emphasised, so that we have been training apprentices in various professions in Oberrüti for many years. We also see ourselves as responsible in the area of migration and are committed to providing employment for asylum seekers. In doing so, we underpin the principle of equal opportunities, where the origin or gender of the employees plays no role for us. We attach importance to our employees recognising the meaningfulness of their work and achieving new things with team spirit.
